Yes my heart has been weary...so much strife in the world
For me, in the UK, the almost certainly imminent forced home education register is one I can't shake....it's sickening to watch that
I also know that that one isn't my fight, because I have other things God is asking me to do
And yet I've lost many nights sleep recently...
My wife and I are fasting and praying next week about a different issue we're facing, and while I'm hungry at just the thought of it (anybod else have that?!?) it is always a special time as we seek to draw nearer to God
Your post is the reason DingDash is the first thing I do each day...seeking encouragement and new situations to pray for

We got word an hour ago of one of our pastors in Afghanistan, Pastor Siddique, was notified that his house now belongs to the Taliban and 'they know what he is doing.' His family has fled to the country side and others are also being threatened. We ask you to pray. CMM has already received some funds to send to them and other friends' groups working in Afghanistan like FAI and others. These are front line warriors risking their lives to share Jesus' love. As the Lord leads give at www.cmm.world for rapid response fund or covert.

3rd birthday here in 19 days as we celebrate Peter's 11th
His first gift was picking Jo up from work, late last night, and a CD from a US Christian metal band, which we lisened to on the way home.
This morning we're a bit groggy cos we were up late getting stuff ready, and Peter is helping us wake up with more Christian metal music - by the band Disciple - to help us wake up this morning
