@DevotionalTreasures i made a double batch earlier in the week - I have another 8 puddings worth for tonight, and some more that will need to be used up tomorrow evening

it's great for the boys, because they feel much more full! it isn't like we're not providing enough food - they're just growing lads, who eat more than we do :-)

@DevotionalTreasures @Cherishingsparrows2020

now you have me pondering Lincolnshire v Cumberland Sausage

aromatic, or spicy.......or just have both and be done with it πŸ˜‚

@Jo_PrayerN_actionCenter

125g plain flour
2 eggs
225 ml milk
pinch of salt

mix well together well

bake the pudding trays at 200 degrees centrigrade, with 10ml of oil per hole

after 20 minutes take the tray out, & pour enough batter mix to half fill each hole (pour it in, in one go)

pop back in the oven for 15-20 minutes - or until golden brown

enjoy πŸ™‚

your prayer is very appreciated, and much in line with our own, current, prayers & thoughts

with my first book approaching completion ( @Olamide is to thank for pushing me to do that) there is much to be doing - i'm converting my Andy B 2 Minute Videos into a book of daily, though provoking, little stories

my other book, which is even nearer completion is, again, thanks to the love and request from @Olamide , and is a teaching video/podcast/book called "Broken Dreams, and Hope"

God is good - we just got some stools somebody didn't want, for our studio, which was a blessing to us

@Jo_PrayerN_actionCenter fresh eggs and fresh lemon - makes ALL the difference to any meal

@Jo_PrayerN_actionCenter @MaryMamuzich @bethany @Cherishingsparrows2020

such a lovely scripture and blessing! struggling to know joy at the moment...no reason why I shouldn't, it just seems a little absent

@Cherishingsparrows2020 @DevotionalTreasures

125g plain flour
2 eggs
225 ml milk
pinch of salt

mix well together really with a whisk (manual or electric)

bake the pudding trays in an oven at 200 degrees centrirade, with about 10ml of oil in each hole

after about 20 minutes take the tray out the oven, and pour enough batter mix to half fill each hole (pour it in, in one go - that's important 'cos if you top up the mixture afterwards, you get very mis-shaped puddings)

pop back in the oven for 15-20 minutes - or until golden brown

enjoy πŸ™‚

always works best, in my humble opinion, with a beef gravy

@MaryMamuzich @bethany @Jo_PrayerN_actionCenter @Cherishingsparrows2020

definitely nothing like a meringue as we don't add sugar, and there is not much beating going on

on pancakes we usually use lemon juice and sugar, or maple syrup

but on Yorkshire Puddings, it's usually a meaty gravy :-) (or the lemon sauce made from the juices of a cooked chicken I discovered a few months ago)

and as for why it's called a pudding? not a clue! i think it's more to do with shape than the word - that'd be my guess

steak and kidney pudding (with suet pastry and my absolute favourite food in the world) is definitely not a dessert, but that is definitely a pudding

i don't know enough about the wording to reply...

@DevotionalTreasures it's taken over a year to get it this far. the stools are the latest prayer answered - someone getting rid of them on eBay; the green screen was a returned item on Amazon, that had clearly never been opened - so was HUGELY reduced in price; we use mobile phones for cameras :-)

@DevotionalTreasures busy, busy...editing a second book; making edits to another book that is more advanced; preparing to record Little Blessings Online; enjoying our new look studio πŸ™‚

@DevotionalTreasures it blessed me πŸ™‚ we love Scotland, miss Scotland, so the sound of your voice reminded me of some good family memories.

It's the only place we've regularly gone on holiday, although we've only ever really managed to do that every 7 years or so

I have decided to persevere with the podcast idea from months ago, and added a new episode with my classic post today called "On The Wings of Love."
open.spotify.com/episode/5e00N

@DevotionalTreasures and I'm so glad you did persevere. I read your post, which was really good. But then I listened to the audio version, and your lovely, calm, reassuring [Scottish] voice as well, and heard yet deeper truths that my reading had missed.

Good morning brethren! May our precious Father God surround you with His love, and guide you by His lamp of righteousness.

@Chidiotamiri you're so right

And this is so very encouraging.

Thank you for sharing this
