It wasn't until the Olympics was hosted in the UK that I discovered that the internet was invented in the UK.
In response to my letter urging me to consider going back to trucking [for a short time!] I've made 3 enquiries to 3 companies all currently recruiting drivers....and have met nothing but a wall of silence, so far.
Crisis? What crisis!
If I've got nothing back by the end of next week I'll be contacting the Lord (is a woman a Lord? Or a Lady?) who sent the letter and asking why they wasted the price of all those 1,000,000 stamps since a highly prized professional, with 15 years plus experience, and a clean licence, actually isn't all that valued or wanted!?! Also that I'm not at all surprised by what I've so far discovered and encountered...
Since this was a response to a crisis thing on my part, and since I've been quite happily not employed for some time, I have plenty of time on my side ;-)

So having the vaccine is supposed to be personal, informed, choice?
I’m saying this as a registered nurse, I know the pros and cons of the vaccine. I’m not even having a vaccine pros and cons debate. BUT I’m tired of social media using their ‘powers of persuasion’ to dictate the information content we’re ‘allowed’ to be fed. How can informed choice/consent be given if the information is biased??

@MiBurrito @davereimer @tymektt brexit is being blamed over here. But all that did was shine a light on how poorly people have been systematically treated and paid (I was very happy when we voted to leave th EU!)
