Andy B 2 Minute Video, Out of Darkness Cometh Light, S04E058
This Andy B 2 Minute Video was inspired by Mandy, and her brilliant post - and power packed prayer - “April 2022 Prayer”. You can find out more about Mandy at her blog “Blue Collar Theologian”. Go check it out!
Darkness often feels like it is greater and has more power. People love to do bad things in the dark because, I guess, they think it can appease some of the evil of their actions. Or, just because they don’t wish to get caught – which really amounts to the same thing.
Darkness often feels like it is closing around us, and it can seem as though it wins more often than the good.
And yet, as Christians, we have a sure and certain hope that where there is light, the darkness will not be able to win! Scripture tells us that where light is, darkness can not be.
@MaryMamuzich it's what the 😊 global church family should be about
@Berrybunchfamily thank you for sharing that burden with my family.
@MaryMamuzich awesome - i remember praying for this, Praise God
Last year all my wonderful DD brothers and sisters were praying for my daughter and granddaughter to survive an extremely different delivery. Today Kynlee turned one and she is beautiful and healthy and so is my daughter.
I thank God for DD! A place that brings us together from around the world to love and hold each other up in prayer. Praise God for saving the life of this tiny child that has my heart wrapped around her tiny finger!
Andy B 2 Minute Video, Jesus' Virtual Ministry, S04E059
A cup of tea with a friend can be a great way of spending our time! Talking to someone, seeing the reaction on their face as we say something, helps steer the conversation. It is invaluable feedback to deepen the relationship.
As a preacher, or as a worship leader, that same feedback is really important - it helps us steer how we say things, or how many times we can get away with repeating that same chorus while we try to remember what the next song was supposed to be, or how we’d agreed - with the other musicians - to seamlessly get to that next song and continue the worship (that last one might just be an Andy B thing). Late Sunday evening here in the UK. What a day! Emotionally overwhelmed from the day in a good way. So much has happened which has a either really challenged me or encouraged me.
Finishing on a positive though.
And our first Sunday PLUS children's discipleship group went well....my favourite thing ever - sharing my excitement of the bible with children 😊
Happy Sunday y'all

Sunday PLUS with Dave the Dog, Proverbs 1, S01E01
Andy B starts us off with the brand new Sunday PLUS by opening the bible to the book of Proverbs, and the very first chapter.
The Bible is exciting and is full of all sorts of things that can help us live better lives and become more like Jesus.
The book of Proverbs was written by King Solomon – the most wise man to ever live, after Jesus of course!
King Solomon is perhaps most well known for telling two women who were arguing about which one of them was the real mother of a baby, to cut that baby in half. Of course, the real mother said no, while the imposter said yes. King Solomon had his answer!
Proverbs teaches us all we need to know gain both knowledge and wisdom – and the difference between the two.

Peter & JoJo get together to encourage us, as always, to pray as a family. And they continue their series on using objects for prayer to help us stay focused, returning this week to World Food or The Photo!
By special request, JoJo & Peter pray for Scotland, encouraging us to use the Scottish national dish of Haggis as our focal point.
With a photograph of the traditional Scottish savoury pudding – Haggis -Peter and JoJo pray for Scotland.

Marriage Matters, It’s A Balancing Act, S01E011
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8MgZ2JpaTDs
In this week’s Marriage Matters, Andy B and Jo talk about the importance of honesty in marriage and being gentle. They speak candidly about how we can go from being supportive, kind and loving to our spouse to cruel and unkind and critical if we are not careful.
As always, Andy B steers the episode with scripture and explores the following:
Proverbs 27:5-6
Proverbs 27:17
Proverbs 5:3
Andy B and Jo make the point that there is a need to tell our spouse some difficult truths sometimes, whether it’s as simple as not liking what they wear or disliking their culinary delights or the need for our spouse to slow down, rest or stop working!
There is a balance to be had between being straight on the one hand but being gentle about it on the other.
