Endurance, Honestly, I’m Fine, S4E05
Endurance is your weekly spiritual workout, whether you think of yourself as a beginner, an intermediate, or advanced!
Andy B begins this week’s theme, “Honestly, I’m fine”, with a reminder of how skilled we can become at hiding our emotions through “Sunday smiles”.
He warns us that sometimes people will ask us how we are without really wanting to know the answer, reminding us to only ask a question if we are willing to hear the response.
Steven and Nathan challenge us to be honest with God and others, especially our brothers and sisters in Christ.
Nathan quotes Ephesians 4:25, which looks at the subject of honesty with fellow believers.
And the two of them discuss Jesus’ perfect example of honesty, as well David, who wrote many of the Psalms, and the way he was honest with God.

Family Prayer Time, The Photo, S1E05
Peter & JoJo get together to encourage us, as always, to pray as a family. And they continue their series on using common objects for prayer to help us stay focused.
This week, JoJo & Peter continue to inspire us into praying for different countries, nations, or places in the world by using, this time, a photograph. Peter and JoJo encourage us to find pictures of the landscape or scenery of the country or nation for which we want to pray.
With an authentic photograph of a beautiful snowy scene with a lovely wooden home at the centre, thanks to Tanja, Peter and JoJo pray for Finland.

Broken Dreams, and Hope! Now available on Amazon!!
A few reviews of the book we launched yesterday. So thrilled it is encouraging people!
“Small confession to make… I just finished reading your book! Finished in a day which is very unusual for me. A real page turner!”
“I read your book last night, it took a little over an hour. It was so good! Each chapter flowed into the next making it hard to put down.”
“Very good, Andy, I’m so very proud and honoured that I can hand this book out knowing I know this family.”
“Letting a person who doesn’t realize that pain and suffering is apart of this life and not something uncommon makes it easier knowing your not alone – life is indeed messy. “
“I love the way you spoke of hurt and abuse but never going into details that would have robbed the reader of their own inward pains and ability to take hold of the Lord’s extended hand – the hand that will never let go.“

Got my first direct message review of my book released today. Somebody bought it and read it in a day, which is something they said they didn't usually do. So that's made my evening 🙂 They said it is a real page turner and encouraging. Awesome!
After a day when nothing felt like it was going smoothly, that has warmed my heart quite a bit

Managed to publish my book today, Broken Dreams, and Hope!
1 minor error on the rear cover was picked up, so I'm still waiting for it to be published, but the eBook version is now available and I was super encouraged to see that selling already which made my day!
I've also had some lovely compliments from people who have already started reading it, and are loving it.
One good friend in the US has thought that they'd like to hold a number of the paperback versions with them - of my book (not something I thought I'd ever say) - to hand out to the homeless people she meets, with a bag of nuts, or raisins or similar.
And I've just finished the first edit of my next book, due out in May. 35,000 words, nearly 200 pages, of properly formatted and adapted writing, and made ready for a detailed edit from @TakeN who's proof reading skills are second to none!

Andy B 2 Minute Video, Be Led, Not Driven! S04 E053
While chatting with a friend this morning, I was struck by the ease with which we can be driven along by life, when we really should be resisting that pressure, and being led instead.
Sure, there can be life issues which pop up in front of us, which we quickly need to deal with, dropping everything in order to do so. There is a rush or life that we need to pay attention to.
However, we should be led not driven, most of the time.
Not one person on the planet enjoys being forced to do something they don’t want to do. If we’re driven to something, then it is not something that tends to be a positive experience.
But, if we can be led somewhere, we are far more likely to enjoy the journey, the experience, and the outcome. [READ MORE]

Andy B 2 Minute Video, Tuck and Roll, Season 4, Episode 52
With life it often seems like we have just two choices to make - wrap ourselves in plastic bubble wrap to protect us from falls and pain. Or we can wear a crash helmet and keep charging on!
Actually, I think there is a third option – a little bit of bubble wrap, a crash helmet, and some time planning out what is in front of us.
There’s always gonna be stuff that knocks us for six! However, more frequently if we’d simply taken a pause before charging along, we could have spotted the issues, or busyness, and figured out a better plan or route!

Andy B 2 Minute Video, Look Back, But Don't Fall Over!, Season 4, Episode 51
It’s really healthy to look back at what we’ve accomplished. It’s good to remember what we’ve done, or how we tried to do something last time.
It’s great to reflect on where we’ve done amazing things, and even not so amazing things. It can even be healthy to remember the foolish things we did and managed to escape serious injury.
However, if we look back too long, we end up risking falling over. Because we’re still walking forwards at the time!
Just a thought…

Andy B’s first book, Broken Dreams, and Hope!
Broken dreams happen to all of us.
It can be as simple as looking forward to a cup of tea when we get home from work, only to find you forgot to buy some milk.
It can be waking up to a letter that has been pushed through your door over night telling you that you have just 2 months to find a new house to live in, when you know there is no way you can afford to move (we’ve had that happen, more than once).
Broken dreams can be a spouse filing for divorce or losing your job through redundancy when you’ve just taken on a mortgage.
“I want you to know that no matter what you are going through, whoever you are, irrespective of what you have done, there is a Hope that can overcome all of those things.” - Andy B
We all have dreams, and they vary from person to person, and with the different seasons of our lives.

The BerryBunch
A quote from S. Wigglesworth
"We should be able under all circumstances to triumph.
Not that we have any help in ourselves, but our help comes only from God, and if our help is only in God then we are always strong and never weak.
It is always those people who are full of faith who have a “good report,” who never murmur, who are in the place of victory, who are not in the place of human order, but of divine order in God.
He is the Author of our faith, and our faith is always based on “thus saith the Lord.”
Lord Jesus,
How faithful you are! You are good even when we are not!
In these days of instability, help us remember that You are the God who "makes a way through the sea, and a path through the mighty waters." (Isaiah 43:1). You are the God who delivered Israel from tyrants when they were unarmed and enslaved. You fed them in the desert when there was no supply chain. You gave them water from a rock when their resources dried up. You are the God who "makes wars to cease to the end of the earth." (Psalm 46:9). And You command us to "Cease striving and know that I am God;" (Psalm 46:10).
Today, Jesus, we give You our worries and fears. We give You our anger. We give you our future. We rest in Your promises, especially that You will never leave us nor forsake us (Deuteronomy 31:6). We claim the attitude of the righteous man in Psalm 112 who "does not fear bad news; his heart is steadfast, trusting in the LORD."
Command victories for Jacob (Your children), O Lord! (Psalm 44:4).
