@ChristieLeanne @MaryMamuzich @bethany it's a fabulous filler food - quick and simple to make and bake
@MaryMamuzich @bethany @Jo_PrayerN_actionCenter @Cherishingsparrows2020
definitely nothing like a meringue as we don't add sugar, and there is not much beating going on
on pancakes we usually use lemon juice and sugar, or maple syrup
but on Yorkshire Puddings, it's usually a meaty gravy :-) (or the lemon sauce made from the juices of a cooked chicken I discovered a few months ago)
and as for why it's called a pudding? not a clue! i think it's more to do with shape than the word - that'd be my guess
steak and kidney pudding (with suet pastry and my absolute favourite food in the world) is definitely not a dessert, but that is definitely a pudding
i don't know enough about the wording to reply...
@DevotionalTreasures it's taken over a year to get it this far. the stools are the latest prayer answered - someone getting rid of them on eBay; the green screen was a returned item on Amazon, that had clearly never been opened - so was HUGELY reduced in price; we use mobile phones for cameras :-)
@DevotionalTreasures busy, busy...editing a second book; making edits to another book that is more advanced; preparing to record Little Blessings Online; enjoying our new look studio π
@DevotionalTreasures it blessed me π we love Scotland, miss Scotland, so the sound of your voice reminded me of some good family memories.
It's the only place we've regularly gone on holiday, although we've only ever really managed to do that every 7 years or so
I have decided to persevere with the podcast idea from months ago, and added a new episode with my classic post today called "On The Wings of Love."

@DevotionalTreasures and I'm so glad you did persevere. I read your post, which was really good. But then I listened to the audio version, and your lovely, calm, reassuring [Scottish] voice as well, and heard yet deeper truths that my reading had missed.
Lamp of righteousness... that's lovely wording!
@DevotionalTreasures now that sounds good ALL the time π
@DevotionalTreasures There all sorts of good with a Yorkshire Pudding :-)
Andy B 2 Minute Video, Baking Trays, Yorkies and Spiritual Growth, S4, E12
Andy B loves his kitchen, and he loves kitchen shops, or departments with cooking equipment in them.
For ages now, he has been trying to make Yorkshire Puddings, using his super cheap cupcake baking tray.
In one way it is perfectly functional β it has a number of bowl like shapes, that help Yorkshire Puddings grow into the right shape as they cook. But, on the other hand, it is super cheap, ultra thin metal, and has the non-stick ability of super glue!
So, Andy B finally invested in new baking trays to make his Yorkshire Puddings. And now, everything is all golden!

@bethany Thanks
The north has pudding, chips and gravy...something the south really doesn't understand!!
@bethany @MaryMamuzich Sugar and lemon juice on a pancake....not on a Yorkie π
@sinbach awesome! our oldest son has had a strong desire, since he was young, to join the marines too (albeit the slightly older version ;-) )
@MaryMamuzich @bethany oddly, it can be sweet or savoury
It's just a pancake batter (near enough) so you could just as easily fry some up and add your lemon juice and sugar (or maple syrup)
We use it as a savoury like this, though
