@faith20 We are 80 miles from there. Prayer is the biggest thing now. There has been so much help materially that no more is needed for the moment. Pray for the families. Pray that God can use this to draw some hearts to Christ.

UK politicians are set to regulate home educating famikies like they do with sex offendors

Never thought I'd see that see sort of a comparison being made by academics and experts on this latest proposal to criminalise parenting.

Prayers are needed for the UK. A proposed piece of legislation would send normal mums and dads to prison, with no upper limit, if they fail to comply in anyway - a forced home education register

The people set to manage this? They won't be trained or have any knowledge in home education, and there will be no appeal process or accountability for their actions.

Meanwhile a 16 year old child was physically assaulted, by a group of class mates - in school - while teachers did nothing. Her crime for the vigilante retribution? Saying there are only two genders.

I pray the Lord is with him as He was with Joseph when his brother threw him in the pit. May Andrew draw nearer to Christ and know God's hand is a strong shield.

We went shopping today and didn't notice any panic in our city today. 😅 We live our lives as usual - what else could we do? But of course it's not fun to neighbor Russia, and the last two months Finns have been worried, and Russia, Ukraine, NATO, and our defense is the main topics on news every day. Some days I wake up with anxiety. Finland (and Sweden will probably follow suit) will apply for NATO membership, and Russia has made clear that it won't be without consequences. Our president Sauli Niinistö made a phone call to Mr Putin today. He is probably the head of a state who has talked to Putin the most. Putin didn't express any direct threat today, but said it will affect our relationship. (Finland has been a neutral buffer state between Russia and West ever since after WW2. When we join NATO those neutral days are gone, and we become an enemy). Please pray for Finland, and our president, who has a key position because of his relation with Putin! Niinistö and his wife are Christian.

@moamfj I’m glad you made it through all of that. I also tried to kill myself and ended up with a bad head fracture. Thankfully God gave me my life back. I’m trying to stay close to Him now.

Please pray for 'Mark' a nominal Christian, without Salvation experience. He is diagnosed with some stomach ailments.
