Please pray for a friend of mine (middle aged) with covid! He's Christian and has asked for prayer. High fever for almost a week. He has taken Ivermectin, Zink, vit D etc. He's not vaccinated (if it matters, since they are so ineffective). He is going to check his lungs at the hospital today. I have no idea what protocol they use for covid, if it helps or if it only boils down to a person's own immunity.
@Williams_girl Thank you, so much! We have needed your prayers! The Lord was speaking to you. Thank you for praying!
We were hit VERY hard with the stomach bug and several other things two days ago
This is dated and a bit long, but I couldn't help but make so many comparisons with our day as I watched this representation of Christian persecution in the former Soviet Union with my boys today. May God's Spirit fall fresh on us in this generation with fresh courage!

Just an observation understanding that causation and correlation are not the same.
I spent xmas in a cabin with my parents and siblings.
Everyone got the rhona....well almost everyone.
I got it. two boys and wife got it (confirmed with test). My step-dad got it.
We are all v@xed. My shots were in October and my stepdad just had the booster last month and he was so bad that he was taken into surgery and is currently in the urgent care wing of the Ball Memorial Hospital.
My unv@xed mother is five years older than my step-dad and only had the sniffles. She was over it in a day. My unv@xed sister - yep, she did NOT get it at all.
So....on a personal level....the record in our family for those with the jab is less than underwhelming.
Listen to what's going on in Australia! Hailey was sent to 14 days of internment camp - protected by high fences and police. She never even tested positive. She was put there as a punishment for lying to the police that she had taken the test, even if she hadn't. She had been around a person who tested positive, and police was knocking on her door. She got scared and said that she had had the test.

@faith20 The Lord will stand with His faithful ones, be encouraged!
I've got a disciplinary warning letter from my employer today.
My mask wasn't all tight and I refused to yo daily nose-testing, but instead bought saliva-tests. Didn't work.
In Germany they can't fire you that fast, but there's a new law coming which makes it impossible to do certain jobs unvaccinated.
That's the latest date I expect to get fired.
Insanity rules worldwide.
But God rules over insanity.
Be encouraged everyone!
I deployed with the army as a DOD civilian in 1996 as a part of a peacekeeping mission. I was a real estate negotiator for properties needed belonging to civilians. One of my translators was a young Bosnian, Nermin. We became close friends while we served together, although at one point he reported me for my Christian witness. He spoke Russian, German, English and his native tongue. I recently found him through Facebook in Berlin as an international attorney. He shared how depressed he was. His wife and child were killed in an accident on the road to Sarajevo a few years back and he has not healed. He spoke of wanting to work in the US. I have invited him to come to my home and we are working on a visa. A few weeks ago after a trip to Ukraine he contracted COVID even though vaccinated twice and was hospitalized for 10 days. Sunday past he returned to the hospital again having breathing issues. Please join me in praying for his healing.
Jo's taking me back to A&E (ER). My heart or chest seems to be doing funny things again.
Last time I went, for these same symptoms, they told me heart was absolutely fine and they found a mild infection in my lungs which they blamed for my symptoms
It feels more like the muscles in my chest are simply agitated, rather than my heart. I've checked my pulse a few times, and that has seemed ok.
Either way, they told me to come back to hospital if it happened again. it has, so we're going back very shortly.
Please pray for wisdom all round, and a speedy resolution.
I feel, otherwise, the best I've felt for weeks. Even the cough seems to have finally disappeared today.

@tanjaostman I understand you, Tanja! The situation is precipitating in some countries (in Italy too). I do not know what to do anymore. I pray, I sing to the Lord, I meditate on the Scriptures but I don't know how to get out of this nightmare. It is a constant struggle to keep God's peace. Only God knows how we feel and will surely act in our favor according to his will. God bless you and protect you.
Lithuania is the most authoritarian state in Europe right now. Poor people. They were suffering under Soviet communist rule until 1990, when they became independent (again). Without the covid passport It's even difficult to buy groceries. Sometimes I feel like taking part of a bad movie because of what's happening around the world. It doesn't make sense. Last night I had nightmares and woke up with anxiety in the morning. I just had to start the day with worship songs and then focusing on work. I had read and heard too much yesterday, that upset me. So much suffering! I wouldn't be as anxious if I wouldn't have a child. I think of his (and all children's) future in this evil and weird world. One thing is for sure, it is more difficult to be young today than it was only ten years ago. And then comes this evil plandemic that makes young people kill themselves in despair. I don't feel depressed but extremely frustrated and sometimes anxious, like today.
Covid update
Thankyou to those who have been praying and/or sending messages supporting us since last weekend! I will try to find a way of explaining just how important those messages have been, when Im able to
My wife of 25 years - today - made me take a self test, which showed I am testing negative for active virus. Which is good. Because any damage is already done, and it can't make me any worse.
We're aware this is good news, but not the end of this story. We still have a cough, feel generally very rough, and weak.
And Complications can still happen. But a negative test is certainly an encouraging step towards health
But thanks for your prayers thus far. They're still needed.
