Gonna be publishing my first book in the next couple of weeks. I'd love to say it will be next week, but it's my first time doing this...
There's a video to go alongside it, and you'll be able to choose either a paperback or e-book version.
It's quite a timely book, especially with what haas gone on in Ukraine; rising domestic fuel prices in the UK; The horrible cold thing (can't use that word anymore on FB...but I can here on DingDash...yes it's timely after the global stuff around covid too)
I was asked to write it last September by a great friend over in Nigeria. That was the source and the beginning to get me to start this project. Y'all know him as @Olamide ...I just know him as Olli D 🙂
I'll put some teasers out in the coming days 😊
For now it's enough to say it's a quick to read book to do with suffering and hope. My hope is that it is the sort of book people can buy and give to a friend who needs it...

Andy B 2 Minute Video, Crutches Aren't About Weakness
Crutches can be a hindrance to getting on with life, easily. However, if you’ve broken your leg, it is a necessity to enable you to be walk, while your leg heals.
Christians can be negatively accused of using our relationship with Jesus, or our choice to become a Christian, as some sort of ultra negative thing.
As a Christian, I’m happy to state that I lean on Jesus more than I’ve ever leaned on any other crutches in my life.
I’ve used all sorts of things to help me get through life, from drinking alcohol, to working harder than my body can cope with, or caffeine to get me up in the morning, or keep me going late into the night.

I walked to the city center from my job for my lunch today, and saw some soldiers in full combat gear and armored cars and tanks. The air force is also flying over the city. Finnish military are conducting urban warfare training drills in several cities in Finland this week. They do it regularly, and this exercise was planned a couple of years ago. Some might think the timing is perfect, or a little scary.

While most people are celebrating international women’s day, South Korea has a presidential election today. Please pray for Korea, that it will have God’s choice in the office and that they will have humility and wisdom to lead this nation to freedom in the near future.

It’s so encouraging when we can advise someone, or help them, and see a burden lifted from their shoulders.
It could be as simple as lending someone a phone, or giving them a life. Perhaps we take them a meal or two when they’re ill, or even just moving house, so they don’t have to think about preparing a meal for themselves.
It can be so very simple, easy and straightforward to help others.
There are some very specific skill sets, which the church will have within it’s walls. It’s no wonder that many churches choose someone who runs a cleaning business to help organise the cleaning in the church. Or a builder to help ensure the buildings are maintained well.

we've got prices on the increase, with energy costs for homes doubling this year, or worse. some folks buy in large groups, and those have had the worst cost rises
petrol and diesel is rising in cost, although it hadn't really come down from the high costs we saw anyway
food is DEFINITELY going up. £0.25 here, and £0.50 there, while packet sizes are definitely shrinking...

I stayed away from christian films like I did worship takes then CDs...they may be loved by some, but they did anything but worshipful in me!!
But the kendrick brothers films are something else. We've been collecting them over the years. We've got almost al of them now - not so easy in the UK!

while that kind of nonsensical opinion makes my skin crawl, what you've done there is to actually underpin the very essence of one of the things that the people in Ukraine are fighting for - the ability to hold a different opinion and the right to talk about it
like i said, good lad!!
that's a recorded conversation i'm not sure I could have done!
plus, I do truly hope this individual (i saw the thread of Facebook) meets the real Holy Spirit, though...'cos that kind of opinion is just nuts!!
