The sun was in and out and a little cooler than we wanted to admit but what a good day we had with my mom!

Almighty God, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, come to my help and deliver me from this difficulty that besets me. I believe, Lord, that all trials of life are under Your care and that all things work for the good of those who love You. Take away from me fear, anxiety and distress. Help me to face and endure my difficulty with faith, courage and wisdom. Grant that this trial may bring me closer to You, for You are my rock and refuge, my comfort and hope, my delight and joy. I trust in Your love and compassion. Blessed is Your name. In Jesus' name. Amen.

He was born on a US Marine Corps base and this is the blanket the hospital wrapped him in.
Considering that he is now contracted to be an officer in the US Marine Corps, I'd say that this blanket was kinda prophetic.

As the tide began to come in and the sun began to set, it was as if the world was closing for the night. 🌍 🌒
This lonely wave 🌊 slowly made its way toward the shore, finally coming to rest on the sand, gently laying itself out on the soft ground as a child on their bed 🛌, as the light of the sun gradually faded below the still horizon 🌅, until the colour of the sky faded to a dull grey, marking the arrival of dusk.

This is ironically written by somebody. 😂 We are tired of the winter in Finland... April use to be spring time, not winter. It started melting a couple of weeks ago, but then it halted. It's been snowing again today. It started in November, so it's our sixth winter month... it's time for warmth, and to stop using winter jackets and winter boots, and to slip on icy roads.

Last year all my wonderful DD brothers and sisters were praying for my daughter and granddaughter to survive an extremely different delivery. Today Kynlee turned one and she is beautiful and healthy and so is my daughter.
I thank God for DD! A place that brings us together from around the world to love and hold each other up in prayer. Praise God for saving the life of this tiny child that has my heart wrapped around her tiny finger!
