In this fourth episode of the new season, Peter & JoJo get together to encourage us, as always - to pray as a family – and in this series by using the Book of Psalms. This time, Pete and Jo read the whole of Psalm 4, all 8 verses.

This Psalm was written by King David who is waxing lyrical about God’s Protection, even to the point of saying at the end of the Psalm: ‘In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, O Lord, will keep me safe.’ That’s good one for night time to aide a peaceful slumber!

we've had a good week off, chilling at home, so I'm posting a few, more recent, videos - we stopped, but they didn't stop going out 😊

we would appreciate prayers for our computer, since it's rather central to all we do...we bought a refurbished PC last Friday and died yesterday....these things happen, but it adds a tad more stress as we've now got to sort that, and we still need a replacement computer (a new computer isn't an option for us any time soon).

Chinese families very rarely adopt.The
Culture here has been formed to only want a perfect child, and 95% of Chinas orphans have some type of issue wether it be physical, mental or sometimes even as small as a visable birthmark.The babies who are born to unwed mothers (rare due to the high abortion rate) are quickly adopted by parents on a wait list for a perfect baby. But those babies are extremely rare. So most adoptions are definitely international.

There used to be many “foster homes” which were basically like orphanages created by foreigners (usually Christians) where gov orphanages would allow children to go live with them while still registered in the gov one. These “ foster homes” were amazing! Full of love and kind care. Full of medical treatments, surgeries and schooling.Until the government swooped through a few years ago and forced them all to close and send the children back to gov facilities. The children now suffer a lot.

Pray for a elderly woman who is a new neighbor of mine she is originally from Spain and has a thick accent. She is very lonely so I told her that when I’m lonely I take it to God and he helps me with it. I told her she could do that and he would help her! Her eyes filled with water and she said could I? I said yes.

One thing I never get used to is surprise police visits! Today it was to introduce the new "Manager of Foreigners " and ask us questions. Our family is the only foreigners in our area! So it is an honor and privilege to be here.I believe it is important to always show love,kindness,respect and do our best to win people's hearts. A "from the past Anti-foreigner" attitude can still be seen and felt at times. Some will still use the words" white devils" in reference to us, but we understand WHY. They had to live through EXTREMELY unimaginable hardships during the years when China forbid white foreigners .They lived with intensity of Communism,Great Starvation,Tiananmen Square Massacre and more! So I find it easy to love those who may treat us wrongly or with prejudice.Jesus spoke on the Cross " They know not what they do"...
Having said all that, MOST people here are the sweetest kindest people!The Chinese have become my people in many ways and always will be!

In one part of the country Children's ministry curriculum "DOVE" could not be introduced because of floods, other side has severe drought!!!
Please pray for volunteers who are involved in preparing a new generation of children's ministry workers.

Another group of believers will be facing the music this week in South Asia! Will you please pray for them ?

Nepal, Bhutan and Myanmar with Buddhist majority, community pressure is quite heavier than persecution from the authorities.
Whereas Bangladesh is moderate as Muslims of the country are not radicalized.
The majority of the population fighting poverty, so no time to defend the religion.

India is a hard nut to Crack!
The present government represents the majority religion (Hinduism) , rather they hijacked the religion for their hidden agenda 🙄.
The intelligence training India receives from Israel.
Do you know that both India and Israel hates Muslims and Christians?
Common agenda is building the temple?

So remaining anonymous is for the benefit of ordinary believers, who are under pressure from the community, authorities and family members.
